A Tale of Six Bushels





They were the best of tomatoes. They were the worst of tomatoes.
They were big, round and shiny. They were small, misshapen and blemished.

They were from the South. They were from south of the border.

They were sliced, diced and boiled. They were placed in jars, preserved for years to come.
